PICKLING & SLITTING

Our unique processing equipment allows us to process not only high carbon and alloy product but also HOT ROLL 300 & 400 GRADE Stainless.  This is a cost-effective way to reach customers with a superior hot roll product, satisfying the most demanding customer requirements.   Contact one of our customer service representatives for further information at 1-800-344-4WCP (4927).

Temper Passing Capabilities

WorldClass Processing Corp.’s Hydrochloric acid pickling line is equipped with a Meco two-high temper mill with 38” diameter work rolls and external roll bending capability. This temper mill along with our experienced operators enables WorldClass Processing Corp. to meet or exceed customers demanding shape, percent extension or automatic gauge correction specifications for both pickled and non-pickled (black) hot rolled steel coils.

We have years of experience temper passing hot rolled steel (carbon and stainless steel grades) coils for critical shape and surface end use applications such as painted panel stock and exposed automotive and appliance stamped parts.

We also have the capability and experience of meeting specified percent extension requirements for deep drawing or stamping applications.

Our temper mill is equipped with automatic gauge correction software that enables us meet specific customer gauge correction requirements (our capability is dependent on the grade of steel, incoming hot mill gauge variation, and end aim gauge specified).

If you have specific shape, percent extension or gauge correction or other processing requirements for hot rolled steel coil applications, give the WorldClass Processing Corp. Team a call at 724-251-9000 to discuss your requirements.
